Institutional Analysis supports our stakeholders with institutional knowledge, expertise, and data-driven, user-focused perspectives. We strive to deliver data, content, communications, reporting, analysis, and research with the right information at the right time, to assist the community in gaining insight and making data-driven decisions at all organizational levels.

Units Reporting to Institutional Analysis

Enterprise Constituent Relationship Management (ECRM)

ECRM is the business owner of the University of Minnesota’s enterprise CRM platform currently powered by Salesforce technologies including Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud. Among ECRM’s primary responsibilities is ensuring strategic roadmaps, data governance, and business user implementation support to enhance adoption, reporting, data quality, and business efficiencies. 

Enterprise Data Management and Reporting (EDMR)

EDMR helps everyone get the full value from the University’s data, reporting, and information assets through our four goals of shared data, understanding, tools, and development.

University Survey & Assessment Services (USAS) (formerly Measurement Services or OMS)

USAS has been in the business of data collection, processing, analysis and reporting for over 90 years. Our diverse specialty areas include survey research, student rating of teaching, course exam scoring, and K-12 assessment.

MyU Portal

MyU is the University of Minnesota's enterprise portal, delivering many services to our students, faculty, and staff. MyU gives the University community a personalized, user-focused web experience in support of the University's mission of teaching, research, and outreach.

University Data and Institutional Reporting (UDIR)

UDIR collects and analyzes data to provide information for institutional planning, policy formation, and decision-making. Among UDIR's primary responsibilities is ensuring the integrity of the data it provides to University decision-makers, governmental agencies, and other internal and external constituencies.
